How to Print Text Messages or iMessages from iPhone

Every day all of us are getting so many very important messages but we are not receiving them by letter or email but we are getting them through text messages. Probably you are thinking that you will not going to need to print your iPhone text messages or iMessages ever, but there are surprisingly a lot of cases in which printed text messages are required. Printed text messages are mostly used in court in order to prove some user’s innocence. And sometimes iPhone text message is very important to you and you want to print it out and keep it on paper for a long time. Not depending on the reason why you want to print them, in this article, we will show you how to print your iPhone text messages in a few simple methods.

Method #1. Take Screenshots of Your iPhone Text Messages or iMessages.

This is the probably easiest and most simple of all our methods to print out your messages.

1. Open your Text Message App.
2. Find and Open the message that you want to print out.
3. When you open the message that you want to print out Press and hold the Home button and the Wake button at the same time. You will see flash on your screen and hear the sound of the camera shutter. This will create a screenshot of your screen and your message.

   

4. Go to the Camera roll and there you will be able to see your screenshot.
5. You can email this photo to someone or yourself in order to print it out.

Method #2. Email Your iPhone Text Messages or iMessages to Yourself.

If you are only interested about the message content and not about the details of the message like the time and date when it is sent to you, then you can just simply copy the message that you want to print out and paste in order to send to yourself by email.

1. Open your Text Message App.
2. Find and Open the message that you want to print out.
3. Copy the message that you want to be printed. Press and hold on the text message until you see the Copy/More option appears or just tap on Copy.
    

   

4. Next thing that you must do is to open your email application and open a new message. Insert your email address into the sending bar.

   

5. Paste the message that you have copied earlier into the field for writing a message. Press and hold until you see Paste option on the screen and tap on it.
6. Click Send.
7. Turn on your computer and open your mail. You will see the message that you were sent to yourself.
8. Open an application like Microsoft Word or something similar and paste your messages in there. And from there you can print out your messages.

Method #3. Print out iPhone Text Messages or iMessages with iTunes or Help from a Third-Party Applications.

There are a few software applications which can help you with printing your text messages. Also, the default application from Apple, iTunes can be helpful for printing your text messages. This method is going to be a mix of the two software. First of all, we will start with iTunes how to print out the messages.

1. Open iTunes.
2. Check for Updates. Open Help option from the upper menu and choose Check for Updates. iTunes will check if there is an update and if there is click install.
3. Connect your iPhone to the computer. Use your USB cable but first make sure that it is working properly.
4. Go to Photos and find the screenshots from the messages that you have made.
5. Transfer them to your computer and then print them out.

2. When it is installed, it will launch itself.

5. Select the message that you want to print out and click copy.
6. Paste these messages to your computer and print them out.
