Samsung Galaxy A33 5G Full Specs, Pricing and Renders Revealed
Samsung Electronics’ has scheduled the Galaxy A Event on March 17th 2022. The Galaxy A Event will be streamed live, starting 10 a.m. EDT across Samsung’s official YouTube channel. In the event, the brand is expected to launch Galaxy A73, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 smartphones. All these smartphones will boast 5G connectivity.
The devices have been leaked several times in past through certification listings and renders. Today we have managed to get some new renders of Galaxy A33 5G with its full specifications and European pricing.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G Specifications:
Starting with the screen, the Galaxy A33 5G will use a 6.4-inch sized Super AMOLED panel with a tiny water drop notch, which Samsung markets as “Infinity-U Display”. The FHD+ panel will have a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels(412ppi), and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. The screen will also be protected by Corning’ Gorilla Glass 5.
The handset will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1280 processor. The same processor will be used in Galaxy A53 5G. This is an unannounced processor, however we know that it will be an octa-core CPU with a boost clock of 2.4GHz and base clock of 2GHz. We can expect detailed information about the processor in the Galaxy A Event or few days prior to that.
In terms of optics, the phone will offer a 48MP (f/1.8) Main camera with OIS, an 8MP (f/2.2) Ultra Wide unit with 120° FOV, a 5MP (f/2.4) Macro lens and a 2MP (f/2.2) lens for Portraits. At the front there will be a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Photo modes include Single take, Night Mode, Pro, AR Doodle, Panorama, Food, Portrait, Video Pro, Super Slow-mo, Slow-mo and Hyperlapse. Galaxy A33 5G will also support 4K UHD video recording at 30fps, Slow-motion in HD at 240fps and Super Slow-motion recording in HD at 480fps.
The phone will draw power from a 5000mAh capacity Lithium-Ion battery. It will sport 25W charging, however you will have to purchase the charger separately, since the charging brick will not be provided in the retail box.
On the software side, Galaxy A33 5G will run Android 12 OS based on One UI 4.1. The device will get a dual stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. The phone will be water resistant, thanks to the IP67 certification.
Connectivity wise Galaxy A33 5G will use Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac; 2.4GHz, 5GHz; Wi-Fi Direct; Smartview; Bluetooth 5.1; NFC; USB Type-C port with USB 2.0 transfer speeds. For GPS tracking the device will support GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS.
For security the phone will use an under-display fingerprint sensor and software-based face recognition. Other sensors include Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyroscope, Luminance, Proximity and Magnetic sensor. Galaxy A33 5G will measure 159.7 x 74 x 8.1 mm and weigh 186g.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G Color, Storage Options, and Pricing:
Galaxy A33 5G will launch in Black, Blue, Peach and White color options. The phone will be available in a single 6GB+128GB storage option, which will cost 379 EUR.
