Baldur’s Gate III implies that there are prequels to this game, and that is indeed the case, with Baldur’s Gate II and Baldur’s Gate. However, they were both developed by Bioware, developers of the Mass Effect series. Other titles made by Larian Studios include the Divinity Series.

While all the games may differ in terms of narrative, gameplay and graphics, the one constant factor amongst all games mentioned above is that not a single one of them has a New Game+ mode. And since that is the case for all their games, it’s highly unlikely that Larian is going to make an exception for one game, no matter how popular it may be.

2. Making a New Game+ would require Larian to make a variety of balance changes

It’s common knowledge that BG3 is a strategic game and your equipment, stats and overall level play an important part in determining your success in the game. If Larian were to consider making a NG+ mode, they would have to consider making a whole host of new balance changes. This would include raising the level cap, introducing new spells and equipment, redesigning enemies etc.

In short, this would be akin to making an entire new game, as stats for both your character and the enemies are designed in such a way that they balance each other out, and neither is too powerful nor too weak for the other. Ultimately, this would mean redesigning whole questlines. This would, no doubt about it, place a lot of workload on Larian, and is something they would want to actively avoid.

While it’s unlikely that Larian Studios will add NG+ to BG3, players on the Windows platform can download and enjoy any free NG+ mod. According to a recent YouTube video by Everything Android, a new tool called APatchLite provides a much quicker and shorter approach to rooting your Android device. This new tool simplifies the procedure, particularly for people who are rooting their phones for the first time.

How to Root Your Phone Using APatchLite?

“The Management Board of ams OSRAM AG has decided to re-assess the microLED strategy of the company after having been informed of the unexpected cancellation of a cornerstone project for its microLED program. Discussions with the related customer are ongoing.”

Display Supply Chain Consultants at Counterpoint Research later told MacRumors that the microLED Apple Watch Ultra’s cancellation may have been caused by the display technology’s high manufacturing costs and low production yields.

Cost Effectiveness

According to estimates, microLED panels are around three times more expensive than OLED panels. As such, it is improbable that the Apple Watch Ultra would have been offered for sale at the same price as its predecessor if it had been introduced with these more advanced panels.

In response to a question about the situation, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated today that the project has been canceled for the “foreseeable future.” According to the expert, the present prices of producing microLEDs are “too high” to make the idea “economically viable.”

“My latest survey indicates that Apple has canceled the Micro LED Apple Watch projects because Apple thinks that Micro LED can’t add significant value to this product, and the production costs are too high to make it economically viable,” Kuo stated.

Kuo claims that at the time of the project’s cancellation, ams OSRAM served as Apple’s sole supplier of LED chips. For the “foreseeable future,” Apple has “no plans” to mass-produce microLED products, according to the expert.

Kuo called the cancellation a “major setback” for Apple and said some staff members working on microLED development had been let go.

While Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the sole supplier for Apple’s MicroLED lineup was ams OSRAM, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman states this is wrong. In a replied tweet to MacRumors, Mark stated that ams OSRAM was “one” of the suppliers that had stopped these production plans but the project hasn’t been stopped as of yet.

In case you forgot, YouTube is fighting adblockers. If the platform detects an attempt to block adverts, it will now prohibit users from playing videos. Additionally, YouTube has acknowledged that users of adblockers may encounter buffering or slow playback.

A YouTube Premium subscription is another perk that the Google-owned corporation is offering. Google may have forced Xiaomi into disabling the background streaming feature on all of their devices because of YouTube’s demands. Since all of Xiaomi’s smartphones are built on MIUI, this move will impact Poco devices as well as Mi and Redmi models.

OPPO Has Also Removed this Feature

Similarly, OPPO has also stated that all of its smartphones will have the background stream capability disabled with future over-the-air upgrades.

The news broke on OPPO’s Community, where the company said that in order to comply with regulations, they will be removing the Smart Sidebar’s background stream feature. All devices will be updated immediately.

OPPO has no plans to roll out a new update that disables the feature. Rather, the company will fix the same feature over time through over-the-air upgrades. Users have also received an apology from OPPO for the trouble this has created.

Even though neither Google nor YouTube have spoken out about it, OPPO’s claim that it deleted the feature to comply with regulations implies that it was pressured by outside sources to do so. Lately, YouTube has also been very stringent in enforcing its TOS.

Not all users are willing to pay a monthly subscription amount to Google for removing ads and enabling background video playback. Thankfully, there are a few solutions still present that do the work. Nonetheless, according to recent Korean reports (as reported by ETNews), Samsung is planning to produce a first run of less than 100,000 Bot Fit units, with manufacturing set to begin in the middle of 2024.

According to this latest claim, Samsung finished developing the Bot Fit in 2023. Rumor has it that the business plans to reveal or market the assistive robot in the fourth quarter of 2024 after pushing Bot Fit into mass production in the second or third quarter of 2023.

The initial batch of 100,000 Bot Fits isn’t a lot, but it’s double what the Korean media said in 2022—that is, 50,000 GEMS Hips—in the initial batch. Needless to say, Samsung’s claimed intentions for GEMS Hip in 2022 did not come into effect.
