Thermaltake’s ‘Vending Machine’ Style Tower 300 Packs More than You Think!

At CES, Thermaltake showed off some of the most impressive case designs, one of them being the Tower 300. While last year’s “The Tower 200,” a mini-ITX vertical case, didn’t resonate with a wide audience, Thermaltake has addressed many of its shortcomings with the Tower 300, expanding compatibility for mATX motherboards.

Thermaltake Tower 300 Can Support a Full Length RTX 4090 Along with a 420mm Radiator

Thermaltake’s Tower 300 is a larger version of its predecessor, boasting support for mATX builds, and a 4-slot GPU, up to 400mm in length. Not only that, but this case can actually fit in a radiator of up to 420mm on the right side. It comes installed with 2x CT140 fans, but supports up to 8x 140mm fans. In addition, it has air filters on all places you can think of the case to intake air.

It comes in 7 different colors: (In order of the image below) Turquoise, Racing Green, Matcha Green, Bumblebee and Hydrangea Blue. The remaining two colors are Black and White.

This case can accommodate a full-size ATX PSU and features a small 3.9″ LCD upfront. The octagonal design is somewhat reminiscent of the HYTE Y60, but Thermaltake has done an excellent job in practically implementing the vertical design. The front I/O panel includes USB 3.2 Gen 2, Type-C x 1, USB 3.0 x 2, and an audio jack.

The “Tower 300” Has No I/O Shield, Boasts a Tool-Less Build

One of the more interesting aspects of the case, despite its “vending machine“-like appearance, is the fact that it doesn’t require any screws to open. It features magnetic side panels, and both the top and front panels easily pop off.

In addition to this, the case is designed in a way that positions the motherboard’s I/O facing upward. It lacks an I/O shield but instead enables you to route the cables inward through a cutout on the back.

In addition to this, there is a separate package that you can buy (including a stand and bottom cover) that allows you to horizontally lay down the case, which is not only pretty cool, but also seems to be something like a supply crate from Apex Legends.

The Tower 300 starts at $149.99 and can be ordered via Thermaltake’s official website. This is all we know for now, but rest assured that we will keep you updated as new information becomes available.
