How to Prevent RE 4 Remake from Crashing on Your PC

The RE 4 Remake often encounters crashes when it maxes out memory usage. This is typically due to high video and graphics settings, particularly when using the Ray Tracing feature.

If your graphics settings are not set to high and you’re still having issues, you may be missing some redistributables required for the game to run smoothly. Let’s delve into the methods that have helped several users resolve their issues.

Before proceeding with other fixes, ensure that your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements for the RE 4 Remake. Running a game on hardware that’s not sufficiently powerful can lead to poor performance and crashes.

1. Turn off Ray Tracing
